Course Overview
Basic narcotic training courses focus
on drug identification, types of informants, operational planning, and search warrant execution. Advanced narcotic training
courses focus on drug cartels, money laundering, complex conspiracy investigations, and wiretap cases. While these two
types of training programs are a necessary part of drug enforcement, there is a considerable gap in the training available
to undercover law enforcement officers that target mid-level drug dealers.
This training course will teach officers how to identify, target, infiltrate, and prosecute drug organizations that
often go undected.
This course will also focus on ways to proactively take firearms off the street. Officers will be exposed to
and practice manipulating common street weapons (in classroom) which include: AK-47, SKS, AR-15, Tec 9, Mac 10,
Uzi, and Hi-point rifle (no live ammunition permitted during manipulation). Techniques will be presented to teach
officers how to purchase firearms in an undercover capacity.
When working undercover in mid-level drug trafficking
organizations, officers will encounter situations that will challenge their ethical and moral code. Officers will participate
in various case studies dealing with ethical decisions that led to narcotic officers being fired for policy violations and/or
arrested for criminal offenses.

Learn the true structure of crack cocaine organizations. Byron
has participated in the process of cooking, cutting and packaging crack cocaine. In a nine-month undercover operation, Byron
was trained in both "traps" and "stash houses" on the inside structure of how crack cocaine dealers operate.

organization at work.
Learn the truth about PCP, and techniques and strategies to infiltrate
PCP organizations. Byron spent seven-months working undercover inside a PCP organization that distributed multiple
gallons of PCP on a monthly basis. While inside this organization, Byron was taught how to obtain, cut, package,
and distribute PCP.
